Ambassador Zulkifli Baharyddin
Mr Zulkifli is Singapore’s non-resident Ambassador to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. From 1997 to 2001, he also served as a nominated member of Parliament in Singapore. Mr. Zulkifli received his bachelor’s degree in estate management from the National University of Singapore.
Mr Zulkifli was awarded Singapore’s Public Service Medal in 2005 and Public Service Star in 2011. With his wealth of experience advising on multiple boards including Singapore Management University, we are privileged to have Mr Zulkifli as our patron and advisor to the Community Youth Golf Programme for secondary school.
Mr Teo Ser Luck

Mr Teo Ser Luck graduated with an Accountancy degree from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and began his career as an auditor. Throughout his private sector career, he has taken on management positions as head of sales, marketing, business operations before leading companies and assuming positions as Regional Director and Managing Director of different multi-national operations in the Asia Pacific. He has worked in Hong Kong, China, Thailand, India and has helped to start companies. Prior to politics, Mr Teo was overseeing DHL Express (Singapore) Pte Ltd.

HISTORY
The Community Youth Programme was conceptualized in 1997.
Since its inception, over 5000 students have benefitted from our program.
Initiated at Laguna National Golf and Country Club, funds raised at the annual Laguna National Golf Charity were put into this Community Youth Golf Programme.
The charity was recognized by the Ministry of Education in 2002, and given its IPC status in 2013.
In 2013, Youth Golf Network Limited (YGNL) was incorporated and registered on 8th January to manage the Community Youth Golf Programme.
In 2014, an additional venue was set up for training at Orchid Country Club giving two
venues for training – Marina Bay Golf Course and Orchid Country Club.
MISSION
To institute a comprehensive golf development program for students,
in order to develop:
A ppreciation,
C ompetence and
E xcellence in golf
VISION
To provide an opportunity for Singapore students, from all backgrounds, to learn and take up the sport of Golf.
To identify and groom potential young golfers to represent the country.
To use the sport as an integral element in character building that is based on discipline, sportsmanship, integrity and mental fitness.
To establish a knowledge base upon which research and further development on the sport may be carried out at a national level.
To groom a future champion, for the National Team of Singapore.
